The "pulling your injector" trick only works when the miss is constant and at idle, this trick won't work because it only happens under load. Thus my suggestion to check for a weak spark with the plugs pulled and injectors disconnected.

I mentioned that if he knows it's a coil for sure, and buys a new one (BERU), it will come with new plug boot and enough wire but no connectors on the end, so you have the choice to either splice into the existing wires or go to the stealer and buy new connectors pins to crimp on and instert into the black connector housing (more labour but cleaner job).

A lot more difficult to find a bad coil/plug under boost load.
