Probably the single best thing you could apply, if you were willing to
drop the fuel line, is a cold-spray zinc coating (available at Home
Depot for something like $7/can). Just make sure you get the line clean
of all oils and salts before you coat it. After that, your lines should
last about as long as your will to own the car and then some :)

If not, some other form of bonded coating (underbody spray, rustoleum),
or some form of sealant (melding electrical tape comes to mind, but
that would probably be too think).
