The A'pexi boost controller applies boost pressure to the top of the
wastegate to achieve the rpm and gear defined target pressure (+/- small
differences due to present air temperature vs. the recent learning air
temperature).  You would find its continuous servo control much better
than a binary control, if you want to control the top of the wastegate.
And you get an excellent boost meter.
