I've used the 0-40 for half of last winter, and all of this winter season to
date.

The pressures have stayed as before in cold wx. At idle (~600 RPM) the
pressure stays at about 2.2 BAR on the gauge. Between 1800 and 2000 RPM it's
beyond 5 BAR (the gauge limit). Clearly I don't know if it's as far above
the 5.0 BAR with the 0-40 as it was with the 10-30 I used previously, but the
pressures seem fine.

The car is a '92 UrS4 with 189K miles on it.

The only question I have is that in the last week I've started leaking oil
around the front drive seal. When I had the clutch / flywheel etc. changed
out last spring the rear seal was leaking a little then.

I don't know that this leak is due to the 0-40 weight oil or not.

The car has had a strict diet of Mobil 1 since I purchased it with 47K on the
odo.
