While Bill's responses and commentary on the list may be a little
unconventional, and while this recent response may fit right in with that
pre-established pattern, let's not forget who first brought the issue
"public" by posting to the list. Not Bill. IMO he is, therefore, entitled
to his own form of a response in the public forum. Whether it is one we all
understand or not, is irrelevant.
John's initial post, in my mind, wasn't appropriate for the list. It could
have been, had he not specified Bill as the reason for his inquiry.
