Manifestoed, that's a good one. The s-car-list's cyber poet laureate, is
a bit wordy, but I too appreciate his posts.

That being said, you did kind of miss the boat on the lightweight wheel
discussion. The horse is dead and has been beat too. Mostly by me.

I went over the deep end after having a heavy set of wheels bolted (OZ
F1+, very strong though) and I've been beating the lightweight wheel
drum quite loudly ever since.

Bottom line, from a ultimate lightweight wheel, tire, setup (including
cost considerations) the call is..

OZ Superleggera wheel (preferably 17", but 18" works too).
Toyo Proxes T-1S tires
Bira 6, or equivalent, brakes with 996tt monobloc calipers and 993tt
two-piece 322x32 rotors.

Seems to be the best package for all around performance / price / value
/ happiness, etc. (besides, you can still get 16s over those brakes).
