First of all, since the problem is so assymetrical when turning
right vs. left, it seems very likely that the problem is inside the
steering
rack itself and not in the Servotronic control or external hydraulics.
Possibly there could be a sticky check valve feeding one of the two
reaction chambers that applies "feedback" forces to the steering wheel
(the one for right turns). Perhaps this check valve doesn't open until you
get a high enough pressure buildup in the main servo chamber as you
turn the wheel, but then the sudden valve opening causes the feedback to
appear just as suddenly at the steering wheel.
If this scenario is causing the problem, then it's possible (but still a
long shot)
that flushing the rack and hydraulics could clear out a dirty/sticking
check valve.
If this doesn't work, it sounds like you'll need to look into a rebuilt
steering rack.
