I also have T-1S tires. 235/40-18 with 19.5 lb SSR Integral 2s. I have had
them a year. I am very happy with the noise level, low weight of the tire,
the great wear, high sidewall strength, the traction (even in heavy rain,
wet streets, or even in mild snow).
When I was searching for my next tire, I found these items I've listed to be
overall better than the competitors in the same size. The highest ratings
IIRC were wear, weight and sidewall strength.

I like quiet tires as well. How do the T-1s's compare? good looking tread
pattern - must be awesome in the rain!

What about the Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP's?
Anyone had experience with these tires? They seem
comparable to the T-1S's but less expensive.
