Another source for the noise is the tie rod end.
If the tie rod end is not adjusted such that it is parallel with the arm attached to the strut housing, you will get awfull noises when going over bumps and/or steering tight turns.
Check your tie rod ends, if not parrallel with the arms under load, then re- adjust them to be so.
All you noises will go away!
