[s-cars] Cat In Heat

With car up on lift last Friday nite for six speed reconnaissance, I noticed
that the stromung cat is almost directly beneath the gear housing.
Would it be ruinous to wrap the cat in heating insulation?  I thought well
it may actually help keep it warmer, but maybe too warm?  Or; might it be
better to employ some nickel "heat sheets" similar to those I use on the
carrera?
