[s-cars] Radio code

Never having gotten nor needed the radio code until recently, I simply drove
into the dealer and asked what the radio code might be. The service writer
grabbed a post-it, a pen and the radio removal shims and we headed for the
car. He popped the radio out far enough to copy some numbers off, pushed it
back in, copied down the VIN, and went inside. He came back in a couple of
minutes with the 4-digit radio code. No muss, no fuss, no charge.

I had to disconnect the battery in my '94 S4 today. I forgot using a
memory saver, so now the radio is locked - only displaying "SAFE". I
don't have the unlock code. Can any dealer find the code for me? I
understand it's quite easy if I have the VIN and the radio serial
number..
