[s-cars] Interior lights?

I just finished replacing the bulb in my memory switch. There is a single
LED that lights the memory button and a 12v bulb (radio shack part #7219)
that lights the four buttons. The memory module is easy to remove (only one
screw). Once it's out, some careful prying and soldering (don't lose the
springs) will finish the job.

Subject: [s-cars] Interior lights?
Hi, kids, I've been working my way thru the interior lights, trying to make
them all go. Some aren't lit, and I'm not sure if it's by fault or design.
Here are the ones I'm not sure about:
1) Rear defrost switch lights up when parking or headlighsts are on, but is
dark otherwise. All the adjacent switches are lit merely by turning the car
on. Should the rear defrost be lit with car on, but parking/headlights off?
2) Outside rearview control wobble adjustor arrows light up fine. Should the
two door rearview icons above it light up as well?
3) Window switches in driver's door. Window switches light up fine. The
window lock switch is dark. Should it light up as well?
4) Seat and mirror memory switch in driver's door. Memory button lights up,
none of the others (memory positions 1-4) do, should they?
TIA,
-Ian Duff.
