[s-cars] O2 replacement - BTDT??

This is way to simple for pics, even for the mechanically challenged.
1) Go to Autozone and purchase a Bosch 13913 O2 sensor (~$37). They have a
tool-swap for a 22mm special socket which you may want to take advantage of.
You will need 3 pc. of 16/18 ga butt crimp (no laughing, guys) connectors
and some appropriate heat shrink tubing.
2) Go home, let the engine cool down, unless you're a tough guy. The O2
sensor is right there in front of you on top of the guzzoutta of the turbo
turbine. If you use the special socket you won't have to cut the wires on
the old O2 sensor; if you just use a very deep socket you'll just have to
cut the wires; if you use a standard socket you'll have to cut the wires and
lop off the top of the old O2 sensor. Now unscrew and remove old O2 sensor.
NOTE: If the old sensor is really, really stuck in there you could have a
real problem unless you used the special O2 sensor socket.
3) Trim the wires on the new O2 sensor to ~2", cut the O2 wires from the
harness close to the sensor if you haven't already done so.
4) Consider the heat shink tubing - put it on before you crimp the butt
connectors: white to white (doesn't matter which white to which), black to
black. Put the heat shrink tubing into position covering your new
connections, get out your matches and make that tubing shrink - don't burn
yourself or set fire to anything nearby.
I think that's all.
