One more thing to add folks....
The EASIEST way to get a stuck sensor out, without penetraing oil or
anything, is to carefully remove it while the manifold is still hot. just
watch your fingers. use the special wrench, or an o2 sensor socket and
crack that baby loose the minute you get home. go inside, drink a beer, and
wait 1/2 hour for things to cool down. THEN do the repair.
The new sensor should have some gray stuff on the threads. If it doesn't,
you'll need some anti-seize and you should put a dab on there. makes the
next time much easier.

Nice work Phil,
=A0 Another way to get the old sensor out for those of us with stock suspen=

on is to put a 22mm (I think) box end wrench on it and reach your hand over=

the top of the tire and through the rubber splash guard surronding the tie=

rods. You can get a really good pull on the wrench from there.

Hmm. Heat, age, dampness, disparate metals.
Wonder why that 02 sensor gets stuck.
Mine was stuck pretty good. I used the special crow's foot socket on it with
a long extension. A glop of penetrating oil on the (cold!) parts and some
patience got the thing out.
