[s-cars] Pad Sensor Purgatory

I have (again) the intermittent pad sensor light fault(c) myself. It is
seldom the sensors or wiring at all, but probably the infamooose
instrument-cluster-bad-connection-fault. Do you also get some oil
warning, or garbled multifunction display, then the fault is definately
in the IC. remove, clean connectors and install. If the light is still
on, trace the connectors and leads, and check for breaks. The wire going
from the IC to the left(IIRC) pads, could be grounded for the indicator
to stop working. Don't think you can fix it without some extensive
surgery..

The archive has several write-ups wrt. the IC cleaning, and of course
www.sjmautotechnik.com.
