[s-cars] Oily "Michelin Man" Question

Ditto that too. Just had the IC off. There were traces of oil in the bottom.
So I partly filled it with degreaser, capped the ends and sloshed the stuff
around. There was more oil in there than I thought. The oil probably won't
harm the IC but might reduce the heat transfer coefficients a tad.

My bets would be the only "dry ones" out there would be in cars that have
never been run. FWIW, it gets in and coats up the IC too, having just tried
to clean out an IC or two. Something to consider pulling off once in a
great long while and steaming out if you ever have the front bumper off for
other reasons.

~Ditto that. Depends slightly on what you read into the word 'significant'
~but I don't think there are many dry ones out there.
