Hi Gang,

I just received my deluge of e-mails for the June event at Lime Rock Park.
I noticed that there are (5) UrS cars on the list, a '91 200TQ, and many
other fine 4-ringers. Any other listers planning on attending?

Ray

Some NAPA (& other auto supply stores) carry a blue (as I recall) clay
windshield polishing compound said to remove minor scratches. The compound
is also supposed to be particularly good for getting certain kinds of grime
& leftover glass coatings off that don't wash off readily, and cause fogging
problems. But, to get any kind of even mild scratches out, I don't know....
My guess is it would require a lot of elbow grease. OTOH, I've never tried
it so let us know if you go this route. I suppose you could use an electric
orbital sander or polisher if you had an applicator pad that would work?

Hi all,
Has anybody had any luck doing a super polish or maybe grind / polish on
frosted headlight lenses. Im wondering if perhaps glass shops may have some
equipment for this sort of thing? AT
