[s-cars] torsen diff

Wild Bill,
The rear torsen is fun. ;-)
Maybe it's just cause it's in there that I notice a
difference (placebo?), but IMO, it transfers more
torque out back, letting me steer with the right
pedal. Now, I put the RSB on at the same time, so
that has a lot to do with it, but when things get
hairy (bad prom date syndrome), there's grip back
there, especially on slides. You can feel it working
in turns, too. It's not quiet and un noticeable like
EDL, but it works fine for me and got me out of
trouble this winter with all season bald performance
tires getting to work and back in slush a few days, as
did the diff lock. Admittedly, the diff lock is
probably better at getting you out of a mess where you
might be stuck, but it shuts off right where these
torquey cars would get wheelspin in the winter. As a
performance mod, it's well worth it. But let's all
hope that we don't awake TorsenBoy (tm) from his
slumber, telling us all how lockers are SOOO
COOOOOOL...
