[s-cars] Creaking on steer

I too have a little creak mostly evident in reverse with the wheels turned.
If the steering rack is shot, what is the fix and how much can one expect to
pay?

Saw this on the list the other day....  Read the part about steering rack
mount failure.

Maybe that is it?  I don't know.  I know they strengthened the firewall area
or mounting points at the firewall for the steering rack in 1997.  Does
anyone with a '97 car care to comment or take pictures for urs4.com or
s-cars.org????

I'd be interested to know if this thing can be a retro-fit fix.
