[s-cars] 95.5 S6 does not start after storage

I need help in getting my S6 started after it was stored in the garage for 6
months. The car started fine pre-storage.

Basically, the engine cranks fine, but does not start. I dont hear a priming
sound on the S6 when I turn the ignition on like I do with my CQ. The fuel
pump fuse is OK.

I tried to log on to the engine by using VAG-COM, but couldnt, although I
could log on to other modules.

What is the component that pumps fuel pre-start?

Any help would be highly appreciated.
