Chris,

My advice is to make that 3 years to find the car, 1 year to build it up, and then 1 year to test it out to make sure you complete the event! :)

It seems to be an exception when a highly modified car that was "just finished last week" actually finishes the event.

After watching the show, my buddy and I decided that we should do the One Lap
when we turn 40, which gives us five years for me to find the right car and
for him to convince his wife that it's a good idea...
