Yes, once mounted to the proper 'Porsche' prescribed method, I did get them
touched up.
I am using the stock 996 pads as that was (is ?) all that was available at
the time.
I don't think there are any shims or anti rattle clips with these 996
monoblocks. (Not 100% sure though).
Blau supplied the stainless lines for me.

Hope that answers your questions. I like the kit, it was quite easy to
install and didn't present any troubles.
You need to get the rotor to hat mounted properly, and trued.
