[s-cars] Did my radiator fan kill my battery?

Sandy-
There is a thermo switch for the fan- if it fails,
the fan won't shut off and may even come on by itself.

I can't tell you exactly where the switch is located,
as my car is different, but I'm sure some listers can
help you find it.

Jumpstarting using the positive post underhood is fine,
depends on how discharged the battery may be- my car
simply drained my self-contained starting device on
two occasions (the interior lamp controller failed
and left the dome lights on; and the starter failed
and completely drained the battery).
