Thanks for the input Hap.

My old plastic BPV is one of the prime candidates for replacement.  What I
am finding as I chase boost is that the components that are marginal start
giving up on you. I see Samco hoses in my future as well.

BTW I put my boost meter up by the A-pillar as you suggested in one of your
posts and I think this has to the the location of choice. You can get a
quick glance without taking your eyes off the road for too long.

  The flutter issue sounds to me like your bypass valve. Your charge air
pressure is much higher downstream of your throttle body. You are overcoming
the spring compression of the valve and it is siphonong of your boost. This
flutter you describe is indicative of this problem. The system sort of burps
through the BPV. Solutions vary but the best that I have found is the
reverse plumbing of a larger BPV. This will eliminate the fight between the
charge air pressure and the valve spring. As always YMMV. HTH.
