Agreed! But if I do that, I'll probably be trading in my S6 Avant!

Anyways, Sorry... I stand corrected (which doesn't happen much :) The Evo
VII has a Torsen Front diff, an Active Center Diff, and active Yaw control!
The new Evo VIII has none of this! This is the specs from Mitsubishi's web
site on the Evo 8:

Drive Train: Full-Time All-Wheel Drive with 50/50 Viscous Coupled,
Center Differential, Front Open-Type Differential and a Rear Mechanical
Limited-Slip Differential.

So, here's my question... Seems like the Evolution took a step backwards in
technology with no active diffs... however, this is not neccessarily a bad
thing... The rally guys do not like the active diffs and prefer mechanical
differentials. This is evidenced by the rally running gear on the Evo VIII
and VIII.5 where the active diffs have been replaced with a mechanical one
(viscous coupling, I believe). But, for street... I dunno, I might want
that technology helping me through the turns....

Any comments,
