Mike,
I have fixed several non-funtioning cruise controls on the 5000's and S4's.
Every time it was a leaky vacuum vent valve at the clutch and brake pedal.
There is a vacuum switch there and the o-rings leak. I have never had good
luck trying to lube or replace the o-rings. Best bet is to get a new part.
$40.00 or so from the dealer, I am not sure how much they are from Blau,
Adirondack or the Parts connection.
Jack

My cruise stopped working. Actually, it's been dead
since winter. I had a clutch to get done first! Sice
that project is done, time for creature comforts. Does
anyone know where I should start looking? I have no
fault codes. I am thinking a vacumn line or sensor of
sorts.
Thanks
