finally replaced my battery-drainer CVP, and get to
cease the plug-in-unplug ritual with the associated
buzzing relay in the footwell.

old: 4A0 862 257B
new: 4A0 862 257J

works great - and no more battery drain or crazy
windows.  What's odd is the central locking works with
the key in any entry point, however, the unlocking
only unlocks all doors when using the trunk point.
unlocking and holding at either door only unlocks that
door.

the infared works OK to lock or unlock all.
