Hap,

That is exactly the problem I want to cure. Uneven distribution of the
forces in the band. I am trying to squelch the last of my small leaks. I
will follow that one up. Thanks.

Actually Mike had me pretty sold on the Local print velcros :o)

  mlp and Richard

I would like to point out that it was while riding as a back seat
passenger in Mike's green S4, that my mother was heard saying, to anyone who
would listen, "that man drives too fast".

On a serious note, the best clamps I have found for boost hose
applications are available from NAPA Autoparts. They have a series of
constant torque clamps in various sizes. I use 2 1/2" aluminum hose in my
custom FMIC. The clamps I got were Balkamp 705-1508. The T-bolt clamps are
not as good. When fully torqued, they have a tendency to bend your hose in
the shape of a V. I have purposely over torqued the NAPA clamps and the
result was a uniform pinching of the hose in a 360 degree pattern. They
really apply their torque uniformly over the entire hose. HTH.
