Ed, take your chips and ecu to any GOOD electronics repair shop.
Have them remove the old chipset and install the new ones. I would suggest
asking for top quality sockets and have them tie wrap the chips in.
Does it need a 3 bar sensor ?
Do you know what chip goes in what socket ?

All this talk about the chipped ECU has re-awakened my desire to chip mine.
I have had a set of Wetterauer chips for about 2 years now. The problem is,
I cannot afford to be without the car for the time it would take to remove
my ECU and ship it to Wetterauer.

Does anyone have an ECU I can borrow to use in my car for about a week?

Are there any other suggestions?

Thanks to all in advance,
Ed Bank
