[s-cars] ECS Stage II brakes report

Hi Edwin;

The rear lines will be stock, but you'll have to specify the custom lines
for the front with one Audi and one Porsche end and the proper length.
Measure the ECS line for the length - you may want to check it at full lock
and full extension first to make sure it is long enough. Stainless lines
don't stretch and this may be the cause of your initial failure - if the
line is too short it will pull apart at the end fitting when tensioned at
full outer lock and full suspension extension.
As Kevin recommended, I'd suggest Paragon Performance (
www.paragonperformance.com )- those are the lines I have on my car and they
are DOT certified.

Thanks for the responses. I definitely am considering replacing the
whole set of lines to give me more peace of mind. However, can anyone
tell me whether I'll be able to order stock line replacements and have
them reach (length) and thread into the Porsche calipers without any
incident or not? Or will I have to specify that I have the Porsche 993
calipers on the car now and will need a special set of lines?

Regards,
Edwin
