Paul,

Thanks for that note on evolutionary exhausting accuracy. I could have bee=
n looking at somethin' else! Thanks for setting the record right for Stebro=
details and showing there are other choices out there.

Jeff thought:

I personally do not enjoy the Stebro look with turned up tips nor the audio=
=3D
level. But perception is in the eye of the beholder. I also noted on one l=
=3D
isters car, the Stebro ground clearance is MUCH less than the Stromung. (l=
=3D
ike 1.5 inches) If you lower you car, and happen to roll over rough roads =
=3D
this may be a probelem, maybe not.

Hmmm...

Wonder if your exposure was to older units maybe? That sounds like a DTM
tip. Unless maybe that's what they're NOW offering?

The tips on mine and 2 other local listers cars do not appear this way, and
are at least 1-1.5 years old. They look much like an OE UrQ or something
tip, albeit larger. Conservative and classy, but enough to look better.
Sound is virtually identical to the Stromung, from back to back side to side
to inside and out comparisons. Just a hair difference outside @ WOT, same
negligible perceived 'drone' (not much in either). Clearance has been no
issue whatsoever, H&R 29771 / Bilstein / 4 people in car, fitament was
perfect.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, appearance, etc., is in eye of beholder
(again, opinions like a-holes). I just had trouble with Frank's comment (as
helpful as he was trying to be) that there was no choice. For the $, if
flow is no issue and you're simply looking for sound, I'm sure many will
enjoy what they get.
