Not sure your point on this thread. Jeff has done a good job of GP a good
alternative to the stock system. Justifying it? I chuckle at the thought.
Purchases such as these really have little to do with any "justification"
including dyno sheets or other hard data. The stromung system is lighter, it flows
pretty well, and it's cheaper than a stock replacement exhaust. It looks cool,
it fits well, and it takes the posers (like the stebro) and raises the bar,
in fit, fitment and execution. So, my take on it stands like this: IF you are
going to do a replacement from stock, the stromung is first rate. From a
shop perspective, it's as close to "bolt on" as I've ever seen on an aftermarket
exhaust system, period.
Justifying your existence? Put high flow cats in the stock system. But
where do you justify the sport in that?
