Listeners:  I just completed changing the transmission/center
differential gear oil using BG Synchroshift.  My 95.5 S6 has 84k miles,
and according to the maintenance records from the Audi dealership, where
the PO had all the maintenance performed, this is the first time for the
fluid change.  I have noticed a considerable difference in the shifting,
especially the elimination of the notchiness.  I filled the transmission
to the point where the gear oil was coming out of the Filler Plug hole,
which required a little less than 3 quarts.  According to SJM
Autotechnik, www.sjmautotechnik.com/trans.html, the transmission can be
filled to the bottom of the Filler Plug hole, which would require 3.4
quarts.  Any BTDT regarding the capacity of the Transmission/Center
Differential?  Thanks,
