Hey Andrew...

It's Dan Hussey... remember me? We both had 5ktq's when we were in college
and were both on the "mother-list". I am hoping it's the same Andrew Shea.
Do you have an S4/S6 car now??? I'm on my second one. I sold my '94 S4 for
a '95 S6 Avant about 8 months ago. Great car, but am in the process of
going through it now to fix all the little things... it's been a long
process.

Anyways, for a brake upgrade, check out http://www.bira.org

They just sell the brakets, but from there you can do all sorts of
combinations using A8 rotors and Porsche calipers. I have a feeling the
Porsche/Brembo 4-pot calipers will be cheaper than the A8 calipers... not to
mention, weigh less and won't retain as much heat... oh, and you have a much
better pad selection. If you have Boxter calipers just "laying around"...
just buy the BIRA brackets and slap em on! ;^)

I am going to go with the European A8 rotors and the Porsche 996 monoblocks.
But, I've got to rebuild my rear brakes, suspension, and other things first.

Later,
Dan
