[s-cars] Eibach/Bilstein saga - the outcome, version 1

I ordered a set of Eibach spacers from Shox.com, had them installed on
Thursday. Finally the car is at the proper height front and rear, exactly
14" from hub center to fender lip.

If anyone is really curious about what these look like, I took a couple of
pictures. Essentially, the're a sleeve that slides onto the Bilstein shock
and relocates the mount for the spring perch by about 10mm. It's good for
almost 3/4" in height in the rear.

I'm not quite done yet. During all of this, I had my steering rack replaced
and now my steering wheel is cockeyed, off by about 10 degrees. I also need
to do another alignment...both of which would be easy except that my tie
rods didn't want to adjust at the last alignment (two weeks ago) and will
have to be replaced.

I also neglected to ask my mechanic to R&R the steering damper when he had
the rack out. Doh.

The good news is that my extended warranty also seems to cover tie rods. The
bad news is that they are
ba$tards to deal with. So I'm waiting to receive my new Happersized RSB and
will do all of this at once in a couple of weeks.

*Then* maybe life will be back to normal.

Or not.
