[s-cars] S6 Tachometer Error

To my best recollection, I did the following to recode my
S6 instrument cluster with VAG-COM:
After selecting the instument cluster at address word 17,
the IC coding read back in the "Soft. Coding" field
was 00262.
Accoring to Bentley page W 90-108, the number fields are:
00 irrelevant
2 country (2 for USA, 3 for Canada)
6 number of cylinders
2 fuel type (2 for gasoline)
I then hit the "Recode" button (function 07) under
"Advanced Functions" to get the Recode screen.
I changed the "Soft. Coding" field to 00252 and activated it
by hitting the "Do It!" button.
The tach is now matching what my 93 S4 does for RPMs vs.
road speed.
Paul
