Surely some other manufacturer, but might be worth a try? Hoppen or MTM
would surely be able to make a custom software with just the new data,
and the interfacing and mechanical issues should be the biggest problem
anyway..

Anywayz, there will still be turbo engines out there, and then someone
will ALWAYS produce 3bar sensors. Whether they  physically fit or not..

Anyone done some explorations regarding this matter?

Who said anything about ECUs?

In any event, this might be regarded as a Chicken Little Special. MTM
have ordered a batch of several hundred 3 Bar pressure sensors from
Bosch which are in the process of being delivered. Furthermore, they are
already in negotiation with an alternative supplier for future
requirements. The alternative product has certain technical advantages
over the Bosch item.
