on- surface dirt. It basically prepares the surface for polishing/waxing. As to the cloudiness, it is difficult to describe, but the same as any other silver Audi VW I have ever seen - at certain angles, dense whitish scratches all in the same horizontal direction. Thanks for everyone's help. Stefan
