Go to a motorcycle shop that caters to off road bikes, and enduro
competitions.  They will have sheets of plastic material in various
colors - to cut out for numbers and such.  They will also have sheets
of clear plastic.  All of this stuff is adhesive backed so you can trim
it to fit and after removing the backing paper it will stick right on
the paint.  You can later remove it, and except for maybe needing cleaner
you will never know it was there.
