Crap, my bad!!  Only did it once on my S6 while installing Eibachs so...Yes,
Bentley DOES show procedures for replacing WITHOUT full dis-assembly.  Sorry
for any consternation I may have caused Rokas!!!!

You mean on an S-car you can't pull the cartridge out from the top like in
the 5000's or C4 100's?? You can't be serious...please tell me you're
joking, as I'm approaching strut replacement soon...Thanks,
