[s-cars] Anyone have a carfax acct.?

Oh the karma is good on this list :-)  2 reports within 1 hour;  on a Friday
night, nonetheless!  Thank you.

Traded in the Cabriolet today (sadly) for an 02 Jetta GLX.  Dealer said the
tranny went bad and the warranty company (Fidelity Warranty) wanted to wait
until it failed so they said no... even though the VAG-COM continued to
throw torque converter malfunction codes.  They also said no to a leaky oil
pan.  I didn't have the energy to call and complain as to what the point of
a warranty is if it doesn't do anything....  The tranny plus several
maintenance items ran the bill up past 8 large.  I should have been sitting
on the toilet for that call...  I didn't want to mess with it so why not get
a another car to feed the disease.

The GLX is very well appointed.  So many goodies that it beats out low to
mid level A4's.  It also brought back seat memory that was rudely taken from
the B5 S4... oh, how I love seat memory (wife is 1 ft shorter).
