The indoor carts are big fun and a ton of work. One thing to note --
though the WOT while braking approach is effective, these things run
centrifugal clutches and braking, while accelerating, eats the clutches
up. I know -- kind of like a rental car -- who cares? Now it's time to
consider real karts, sprint and shifter, on real (ie, outdoor) tracks.
Fun factor increases exponentially. One speed (centrifugal clutch)
sprint karts, with a single disk brake on the rear axle, are the place
to start. Then it's time for the shifter karts (two disk brakes up
front/one on the rear), which are violently fast. And, did I mention,
violently fun.
