[s-cars] lug bolts vs lug nuts

Last year I purchased a set of winter wheels from another s-car owner here
in Seattle. The Blizzaks were too worn to even use but I was happy to have
some winter wheels. I believe they are 97-98 A4 wheels w/ 225 50R16 tires.
They came with a set of wheel bolts. My current summer wheels are '98 A6
with standard lug nuts that attach to the threaded wheel studs...I'm about
to throw on some new Goodyear Ultragrip GW2s on the winter wheels. The
question, how will I attach them when my hubs already have thel attached
threaded wheel studs? I'm running stock hubs and rotors. Can I just use the
current lug nuts from my summer wheels and forget using the special wheel
bolts overall?

I suppose I should actually remove a tire and take a look before even
worrying about this, but I thought I'd throw it out there for some feedback.
This is my first German auto, so please go easy on me.

Danke sehr,

Jeff
