[s-cars] shock replacement questions

Hey everyone. For anyone who has replaced their stock, worn shocks on a 95
or 95.5 S6:
1) If you replaced them with Bilstein HD's while keeping the springs the
same, what is the wheelwell gap like now? Is it much larger than before?
2) What else did you replace? Strut mounts? Tie rod ends? Control arms? Rear
camber links? Just trying to figure out what is absolutely necessary and
dont want to waste time. I have new control arms and tie rod ends already
purchased.
