An 11 year old S-car has more features than a brand new S60R? I find that hard to believe... but I haven't evaluated the S60R so I'll take your word for it, my boss just leased one... I'll have to coax a ride out him. Wouldn't that just piss him off to find out my "old" S4 has still got what it takes... ;-)

I drove one last week.  My impression was that my modified (340 hp +-) 92
was faster.  Maybe it is just smoother, specs say 5.4 0-60, that is what
mine does according to g-tech.

The car is quire nice, good power, smooth, big brakes.  Ergonomics are a bit
funny, the steering wheel sits very low, even when tilted up, almost hits my
legs and I am not a big person.  The s-car has more features, the s60r has a
trunk pass-through that is small and has no ski bag.  The seats are nice,
almost on par with the s-car.  Less rear seat room.  No heated seats in the
rear.  The dash has blue and silver instruments, a bit tacky in my opinion.
The trunk is longer, but not as wide.  The engine is mounted transversely
and is packed in there pretty good.  The intake plumbing had a nice silver
finish, but looked kind on small and convoluted.  The intake is on the
firewall side.  I could not see the turbo or intercooler.

The one I drove was butt ugly in my opinion.  Light metallic green with
baseball glove leather (top of the line option).  THe syling is good for a
volvo, but I don't care for the playdough factory rear quarters.

I will wait till my car is used up before considering one.  I suspect the
tuners will be able to coax a good bit more power out of the engine and the
prices for used ones will be dropped down by then.
