I saw a red one at Hunting Ridge Motors in Port Chester, New York a few
weeks ago. Same story - here to drum up interest, and drumming it was.
There was always someone waiting to drive it.

Just stopped at Midwestern Auto Group during lunch today to pick up some
assorted tiny bits for Friday=92s drive shaft laying-on-of-hands, and there
amongst the Aston-Martins sits a shiny new metallic blue Lotus Elise. A
track car, I was informed. One of two in the states (the other is a silver
one currently in L.A.) drumming up interest for the impending Spring 2004
release of US models. The one I saw had a Rover engine and 5-speed, but
future models will have a 190 hp toy-Yoda Celica mill and 6-speed. A real
pig at 1880 lbs, once the airbags and radio are added. Mid 4 sec 0-60.
