>>Hi,

What's up Fred? - can't you cope with lateral g-force?
>>Passing a truck at any speed is like betting your life.
To those of you yet to experience it, riding ANYWHERE with Fred is chancing
the touch of the Reapers' scythe.
>>Not to talk about rain / wet roads.
I drove one the other day in the wet and it wasn't too bad I thought -
misted up a bit though.
>>And if you want to know how reliable are our cars, you discuss with Elise
Owners....
Fred they LOVE to complain - it's part of the British experience! No pain no
gain. You know, you people on mainland europe really are going soft these
days ;-)
>>At half the problems they each had, I would have put the car on fire in front
of the dealership.
Well that's just your typical Gallic response! ;-). In the UK we knuckle on
down and fix the problem.
>>Let's see what our man from UK will say....
You read it here.
Seriously, the Lotus Elise (mark 1 or 2) is great if you drive everywhere
with no luggage, are deaf, and under 5'6" tall. And on a track, of course.
Tried it - it's great but I didn't like it. If you're going for British
unreliablity, do it properly, so it's a TVR Tuscan for me :-)
>>Regards,
Frederic
All the best
Adrian
(P.S. That OK for you Bjorn ? ;-) )
