Thanks to everyone who responded to my inquiry about the CD00 Err code on my
stereo.
I finally found time to disassemble my cd unit. I remove it from the car,
took off the cover, manually released the cartridge, moved the gears to
release then push out the cd that was in the play position. Then put it all
back together, reinstalled the unit, plugged it in and pushed 'eject' a
couple times. I could hear the mechanism trying to eject the cartridge.
Before the operation the unit made no sound when the 'eject' button was
pushed.
I loaded the cartridge and after a day of playing and switching cd's all is
well. I'm back on track.
Thanks,
Ken
