Dave shared....

At my very first driving school at Mid Ohio I was taught the technique (with
ABS fuse pulled) of braking hard enough to momentarily induce lockup, then
curling the toes of your braking foot forward, which slightly reduces pedal
effort.

....

Isn't it amazing the tricks there are to be learned? Thanks for sharing that
one Dave.

Gonna try this toe curling thing today. This trick should also help me to
hang upside down from trees without fall off all the time. (I never could
figure out what I was doing wrong) :p)

BTW - I bought some Porsche S4/944turbo S/RS2 brakes for my S2 before this
thread came up. I want to prep the car for my N-ring debut next year. I have
a button that allows me to defeat the anti-lock. It will be interesting to
test OEM vs S4 brakes w and w/o anti-lock back to back.
