[s-cars] Outer&Inner CV Joints...What are the signs of them going bad?

In a parking lot, with your window down, turn the wheels all the way to
the right and drive slowly. A CV joint will make a clicking sound. If
you hear a grinding noise, it's mostly a dragging brake - either a
calliper pin or a calliper piston is jammed - or it may be a bearing.
IME, brakes are more audible at low speed when bearings are more audible
at high speed. It's just a general rules, YMMV. If it's the brakes, the
noise should change when you press slightly the brake pedal.

Hey All,
I was wondering what are the signs of the Outer&Inner CV Joints going
bad? I
have been having a really weird grinding sound when I brake, going over
slow
bumps and turning right coming from the left front side of the car. The
other weird thing is that it is intermittent as the noise comes and
goes.
Any thoughts on the CV joints? Thanks again!
